From the artist:

This is a Lunar Calendar for 2025, in the style of a Wheel of the Year, designed to help us stay attuned to the Moon and seasons, and in harmony with the rhythms of nature.

The calendar is both a decorative art print and a practical tool, informing us of when the Moon is full, new, waxing, and waning, as well as when the astrological seasons begins and end, and when the solstices and equinoxes occur. Written around the circumference of the calendar are words invoking the themes, practices, and intentions traditionally associated with each phase of the moon, and corresponding season of the year.

Just as the Moon’s gravity pulls on the waters of the Earth, causing the tides, she also works in subtle yet powerful ways on the waters of our own bodies. The amount of sunlight reflected back onto the Earth by the moon at night influences all life here as well, grounding us within a cyclical rhythm of waxing and waning, expansion and contraction, shadow and light.

We are subtly but profoundly influenced by the moon and her phases, and I believe that coming into deeper intimacy with the rhythms of the lunar cycle can support us in living a more balanced life. This calendar is a tool for honing our awareness of the moon's cycles, so that we may move in greater harmony with her influence in our lives.

The original calendar was hand-painted (by me, Cat) in watercolors, in the Berkshire mountains.

This is a beautiful piece of art and functional as well. I have it in a central location, in a room I am in most often, my kitchen. I love it! Looking forward to a 2025 edition.
